Central junior cornerback Tre Wilridge III has been named to the D3Football.com Team of the Week, following his performance against Nebraska Wesleyan this past Saturday. In the Central victory, Wilridge broke up four passes and recorded six tackles. He’s the fourth member of the Central football team to be named to this group. Up next, Central has a road game Saturday at Simpson.

The Central men’s soccer team has moved up to the top spot in the latest NCAA regional rankings. The 14-2-2 Dutch are 3-1 against other teams in the rankings. Central’s conference-clinching win over Buena Vista on Tuesday helped them achieve the top spot. Central returns to action at home Wednesday in the semifinal round of the American Rivers Conference Tournament.
