Mixing and matching a few events together with no real pressure on the Melcher-Dallas Girls Track and Field Squad landed the Saints in 6th place Thursday night at the Raiderette Relays at Mount Ayr. Coach Amy Stuart tried a few different combinations to see how the girls would work and the Saints came home with four top three finishes including a win from Hailey Stegman in the 1500 in a time of 5:59.31 while the distance medley team of Summer Karpan, Gabby Overgaard, Addi Wadle, and Stegman took first in a time of 5:05.21. The 4×400 meter relay team of Haylie Hendrickson, Hayden Branson, Karpan, and Wadle was second in a time of 4:59.21, and the 4×200 meter relay team of Karpan, Karsyn Mateer, Branson, and Hendrickson was 3rd in a time of 2:06.53.
