
Another busy day for Knoxville High School Athletes as six of the eight varsity sports have events tonight. The Boys Golf Squad will head to Bos Landen for the Pella Invitational. The Panthers won their season opener on Tuesday defeating Clarke and Carlisle in a triangular. Luke Roozeboom was medallist in that event. Both tennis squads are playing today. The girls were impressive in a 10-1 victory over Southeast Polk on Monday while the boys lost to state power North Polk last week. The boys head to Oskaloosa for their match. Both track squads are also in Oskaloosa. The boys placed second at PCM with several top performances while the girls were 3rd also in Monroe. Boys soccer will try to get its first win of the season with a date with Albia at Randy Wilson Track. The Panthers fell to Oskaloosa on Monday and look to get South Central Conference action underway today. Start of the boys soccer match is set for 6:30.
