The ranked cross country teams at Pella High School are ready for the postseason push, and that starts this week as the Dutch host the Class 3A district meets at Central College on Wednesday.

Pella’s #1 ranked girls and #2 boys are primed for trips to Fort Dodge as they welcome several schools for the chance to race on Halloween at the 2025 state meet. For the boys, ranked teams joining the Dutch include #6 Clear Creek Amana and #10 ADM. The #1 girls welcome a field that includes #9 Boone, #13 ADM, and #19 Xavier. Local schools Knoxville and Newton will join a competitive field beyond the top spots in each race.

Racing begins at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Central College course. Parking is available by the baseball field or the Kuyper Athletic Building at Central College with courtesy carts available at those locations.
