The #15 Indianola football team is back in postseason play tonight on the road at Waukee Northwest, matching up with the #2 Wolves.
Indianola qualified after a 14-7 victory over Urbandale last week, with their fifth performance of holding an opposing team 11 points and under on the season, and will have their hands full this evening. Waukee Northwest averaged 43 points per game with an 8-1 record, including wins over other top 10 opponents WDM Valley and Ankeny.
Indianola head coach Eric Kluver tells KNIA Sports the Indians will have to be able to control the clock and limit the possessions of the high-scoring Wolves, as well as get points when they put themselves within reach.
The game will be broadcast live on 94.3 KNIA, with Andrew Swadner and Rick Wilson on the call. Pregame coverage begins at 6:30pm, with kickoff at 7pm.
