At 0332 hours this morning, November 21st, 2025, the Marion County Communication Center received a 911 call of an unresponsive infant in the 1400 block of 110th Place, Knoxville. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Knoxville Police Department, Knoxville Fire and Rescue responded and initiated lifesaving procedures. The infant was pronounced deceased at the Knoxville Hospital. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, and Marion County Attorney’s Office are investigating this
incident.
