Despite missing a few from their lineup due to some holiday travels, Pella placed 10th at the deep Cedar Rapids Prairie girls wrestling tournament on Saturday. Of the Dutch and their seven varsity wrestlers, they had five of those seven finish in the top eight.

“To give some context, this tournament has 26 teams and year after year is filled with some really tough girls in any bracket you look at. This has been a tournament that in the past we’ve limped away from a bit, but this year felt like our team took a huge stride,” said Head Coach Adam Hale.
