For the third time this season, the Knoxville Girls Soccer Squad played to a 1-1 tie, this time it was Tuesday night against Fairfield. Neither team scored in the 2nd half and Panther Goalie Addi Williams made several key stops. Players Halle Baker and Irving tell KNIA/KRLS Sports they are seeing key improvements this season.
Halle: We’ve made a lot of improvement, just getting the crosses and scoring, and I’ll take the ties and the wins.
Natalie: You can’t think negatively, and say just because we tied we lost, we scored and you take those improvements whether we tied or scored.”
Knoxville hosts Albia on Friday. Listen for a full interview with Baker and Irving on Today’s Lely Radio Sports Page on KNIA/KRLS.
