The Norwalk boys tennis team competed at the Dennis Hoefle Invitational at Prairie Ridge Sports Complex in Ankeny on Friday.
Competing for the third time this week, the Warriors earned first place in flight #1 doubles with the tandem of senior Wyatt Coburn and sophomore Isaac Lors, as well as first place in flight #2 doubles with senior Lane Juergens and junior Eli Mills. Norwalk competed against seven other schools. Next up for the Warriors is a two-meet week beginning with a matchup at Des Moines Lincoln on Monday evening. First serve against the Railsplitters is scheduled for 5 p.m. at Brody Middle School’s Southside Tennis Complex in Des Moines.
