
The Knoxville Girls Soccer Squad won for the second time this season in a 1-0 victory over Albia while the boys came away from Chariton with a frustrating 3-3 tie. The girls got a goal from Natalie Irving, her sixth in three games and according to Coach Bethany Johnson played great defense in the win. The boys were up 2-0 at halftime and let the lead slip away in the 2nd half finding themselves down late 3-2 only to tie it with ten seconds left. Cael Cook, Brett Watters and Jadyn Deheer got one goal each while Quentin VanderLinden had seven saves. The girls are 2-3-3 while the boys are now 3-3-2. The girls are on the road to Oskaloosa today while the boys travel to Newton on Monday.
