The Pella Christian boys golf season came to a close on Tuesday, with Devan Runner competing at the Class 2A District Meet hosted by Mediapolis. Competing as an individual at Heritage Oaks Golf and Country Club in Wapello, Runner posted a score of 94, finishing in 58th place in the meet. The senior advanced to Tuesday’s district meet with a personal best score of 80 at last week’s Sectional Meet. Devan’s run in postseason action concluded the year for the Eagles’ boys golf team, who will graduate eight seniors in Runner, Garrett Wielard, Peter Bandstra, Toby Belzer, Logan Gallaher, Jacob Harmon, Tristan Oskam, and Riley Vincent.
