The Golf Coaches Association of America named Central College’s Carter Yurgae to the Division III All-Region Nine Team.
Yurgae is the second Dutch player recognized in the last three years, joining Harold Dobernecker’s selection in 2024. Playing 23 rounds over 11 tournaments, Yurgae maintained a scoring average of 73.7. He won an individual title at the Illinois Wesleyan Invitational in April, and had three other top five finishes, including fourth place at the American Rivers Conference Championships to conclude the season.
Central placed third at the conference meet.
