The structure of the new Indiana Township Fire Station is now in place in Attica. The structure is a prefabricated building, and was transported to the site earlier this week. The old Indiana Township Fire Station was destroyed in May 2008 by a tornado. Hansen Construction of Clear Lake is in charge of the project, which is worth $225,000. Tim Tieg, with Snyder and Associates of Des Moines, is the lead engineer. Construction started on the project just over three weeks ago.
