An active learning opportunity for the citizens of Indianola, Iowa. The Indianola Citizens Police Academy is seeking 12 Indianola residents who have a sincere commitment, motivation and interest in learning about the operations of the Indianola Police Department. There will be two, four-hour sessions over a two- week period in October where citizens will learn patrol techniques, firearms instruction, investigations, response to resistance, defense tactics, and more.
