Girls Golf:
The Indianola Girls’ Golf team placed 13th at the Lamson Invite Monday with a combined team score of 426. Top finishers for the Indians included, Alexa Inman finishing 15th by shooting an 88, Kylee Buchanan and Mary Huffer both shot 112, and Kaitlyne Paul shot a 114. Up next for the Indians is the Turk Bowman Invite at Veenker Memorial Golf Course in Ames Monday.
Girls Track and Field:
The Indianola Girls’ Track and Field team won the Norwalk Girls Track Meet Monday with a combined team score of 95. Top finishers included, Madison Grover winning the 200m run with a time of 27.77, Abbie Kluver won the discus with a throw of 119-11, Cailey Baker won the high jump with a leap of five feet, and Sam Gripp won the shot put with a throw of 41-11.75. In the relays, the 800m sprint medley, the 4×100, 4×200, and 4×800 all won their races.
