Three goals in the first 15 minutes of the match allowed the Knoxville Boys Soccer Squad to dominate Central Lee in the first round of the class 2A Substate on Tuesday. Brody DeJong got the scoring started with a goal with 31:12 remaining in the 1st half, and that led to two more goals in a 6:00 span including Tommy Buttell and Grant Gerdes. Drake Larson wrapped up the scoring with 13:05 left in the 1st half to make the final tally of the match and give Knoxville a 4-0 win. DeJong assisted on the other three goals, and goalie Quentin VanderLinden only faced three shots all night. Knoxville is now 8-4-4 and will travel to Williamsburg in a substate semifinal on May 27th.
