The Jasper County Board of Supervisors will be presented a suggested contract for the resurfacing of County Highway F-48 West from Colfax to the Polk County line at their regular meeting on Tuesday. Jasper County Engineer Mike Frietsch will recommend the approval of a $5,781,313 contract with InRoads Paving of Des Moines. Their quote was lower than the bids from four other companies.
Also on the board’s agenda is the approval of final plans for two half-miles of base stabilization and seal coat projects west of Baxter on West 78th Street North and North 95th Avenue West.
Tuesday’s Jasper County Board of Supervisors meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Board Room on the 2nd floor of the Courthouse in Newton.
