The Presidential Candidates faced off for the final time before the November elections on Monday night in a debate that focused solely on foreign policy. Randall Renstrom, Political Psychologist at Central College, says the night was a clear win for President Barack Obama. He says he was surprised with how often Mitt Romney agreed with Mr. Obama’s views, and that Obama was able to more effectively humanize the issues. Renstrom doesn’t think it was a big enough win to sway the polls much. Many of the issues were tied back to the economy, which is what Political Science Professor Andrew Green says is what Romney needed to do.
