While Norah Pearson grabbed the headlines for the Knoxville Girls Cross Country Squad, the rest of the Panthers also were able to make improvements this season. Pearson was the only one of the girls to qualify for the state meet, but Coach Mikayla Splavec tells KRLS Sports the seniors on the team and many of the other girls were able to rally everyone together. Splavec adds there are several younger runners that got varsity time this season and look to be varsity runners next year.
