Continuing a recent tradition, a Pella boy scout completed his Eagle Scout project to help out the City of Pella Parks Department. Grant Anderson led a team recently to construct and replace steps at Big Rock Park earlier this fall. Anderson, with the guidance of adult leaders and those with the Pella Parks Department, designed concepts, provided materials, and work to update those steps for all who intend to enjoy the park. Anderson says this comes after many other scouts have done projects benefiting local community services over the past few years.
