The 2020 Iowa Legislative Session started Monday, and lawmakers will soon begin looking at bills and budgeting for the upcoming fiscal year. Today, Governor Kim Reynolds will give her condition of the state address, which will highlight her priorities for the coming year. State Representative Dustin Hite says one of the first items for lawmakers to address will be K-12 education funding, and from there, it will be budget heavy in the coming year.
