For the fourth straight season, the Knoxville Volleyball Squad capped off the South Central Conference season by sweeping Centerville in three sets 25-11, 25-16, and 25-18 to clinch its fourth straight conference title. The Panthers never trailed in any of the sets jumping out to a 7-2 lead on all three and building on the lead from there. Coach Mollie Keitges told KRLS Sports all the credit goes to her team and how hard they have worked the past four years.

Keitges:
“That means for four years, every Tuesday night in the fall we were focused and took care of business with a few scares along the way but the kids stayed composed and the kids trusted their training and did what they needed to, and it’s fun to win another one.”

Reilly Finarty had an all around match getting six kills, 16 digs, three blocks and going 10/10 serving with three aces. Tara Uitermarkt led in kills with 11 while Marley McKay set up 33 assists and was recognized before the match getting to the 2,000 assists milestone. Knoxville is now 21-5 and finishes the conference with a 6-0 record and is currently on a 25 match conference winning streak dating back to the final match in 2016. The Panthers will travel to Winterset on Thursday.
