Boys’ Track and Field Team Maintains Dominance in Gilbert Meet
The oval remains kind to the Pella boys track and field team as they are now 3-for-3 in meet victories, dominating the Gilbert Invitational Tuesday with 186.5 team points. Host Gilbert and Roland-Story tied for a distant 2nd place mark with 127.5 points.

Pella Boys Soccer Team Bounces Back in Indianola for First League Win
It was a bounce back win 24 hours removed from an overtime loss as the Pella boys soccer team knocked off Indianola 2-0 on the road Tuesday night. The first conference victory of 2021 of the Dutch was fueled by a pair of Isaac Semini goals and a clean bill from goalkeeper Mason Holland in a physical match, according to Head Coach Mark Solomon. Pella (2-1) travels to Cedar Rapids on Saturday for tournament matches against Mount Vernon and Xavier.

Pella’s Simpson Earns Meet Medalist in Competitive Golf Quad in Osceola
In their first nine-hole quad of the season, the Pella boys golf team placed 3rd with a score of 174 in Osceola. Knoxville won the meet at 167, with host Clarke in 2nd (172) and Carlisle rounding out the field at 193. Will Simpson earned his first meet medal of 2021, leading the way with a 37 score in nine holes, followed closely by teammate Ayden Gordon at 40. Thomas Tangen carded a 48, AJ Hoekstra tallied 49, and Clayton Henry scored 51 to round out the Dutch scoring. Pella returns to varsity boys golf action at Oskaloosa on April 13th.
