The Iowa Association of Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches released their preseason rankings for the 2023 cross country season this week, and Pella Christian is well represented.

The Eagles girls enter the fall as the #11 team in Class 2A, with sophomore Bailey Vos also ranking #11 in the class among individual runners. Meanwhile, the Pella Christian boys come in at #12 in the Class 2A preseason poll. The Eagles cross country squads are coming off an appearance in Fort Dodge last season, marking the first time that both programs had reach the State Meet in the same year in school history. 

The ranked Pella Christian cross country teams begin their season at Marshalltown Community College on Thursday, August 24th, when they compete in the Marshalltown Early Bird Invitational.
