Knoxville Raceway will host Mile Long Bridge Appreciation Night on Saturday.
The initiative by the Knoxville Raceway and Marion County Fair Association will coincide with Dennison Racing Tee’s and Jersey Freeze Night for their weekly Saturday night racing show. Free admission will be offered for all residents of Jasper, Marshall, and Poweshiek Counties who commute to Knoxville from the north using Highway 14 over Lake Red Rock. Knoxville Raceway is using the promotion to thank race fans for their loyal support during last summer’s bridge construction.
Fans will receive free admission by showing a valid ID at the ticket window. Hot laps will start at 6:45 pm on Saturday with racing starting at 8:00.
