The Pella Police Department invites the community to celebrate two members of their team as they retire from their roles as Reserve Officers.
After years of dedicated service, Ron Meinders (26 years) and Glenn Meinders (32 years) are stepping away, and Captain Paul Haase says they leaving behind a legacy of commitment, professionalism, and community pride. Between them, they have contributed thousands of volunteer hours in service to the City of Pella and the Pella Police Department.
A retirement celebration will be held on Tuesday, April 28 at 6:00 PM in the Pella Public Safety Complex (City Council Chambers) on 614 Main Street. There will be a brief ceremony beginning at 6, followed by a time to visit and share memories.
