Earlier this week, three Indianola police officers were administered their respective Oath of Office by Mayor Steve Richardson at this week’s city council meeting. Sergeant Tye Sparks was promoted to Lieutenant, where he will command the Patrol Division. Officer John Schumacher was promoted to Sergeant, and will be assigned as the mid-shift patrol Sergeant. Officer Clayton Dale took the initial oath of office and is assigned to mid-shift patrol.
