Last week was National Volunteer Week, and Pella Regional Health Center recognized the volunteers who play an essential role in supporting daily operations.
In 2025, volunteers logged 7,861 hours at Pella Regional. Their time and dedication make a meaningful difference for patients, visitors, and staff each day. From welcoming patients and visitors to staffing the gift shop, delivering snacks and handmade items to new families in obstetrics, and spending time with hospice patients and their loved ones, volunteers make an impact in countless ways.
Those interested in volunteering at Pella Regional Health Center can contact Volunteer Supervisor Rosa Veenstra at 641-621-2489 or rveenstra@pellahealth.org, or Volunteer Coordinator for Hospice of Pella Beth Loux at 641-620-5050 or bloux@pellahealth.org.
