Earlier this month, House File 2748 passed, known as the Iowa Farm Bill. This bill addresses a number of simple code fixes that will help farmers across Iowa. Representative Brooke Boden says portions of that bill have been looked at for a long time now.
“Pieces in that bill have been things many of my fellow colleagues have been working on for years along with our farmers, and it is very imperative that we move that along. We also have a right to repair bill that’s sitting out there right now that I know a lot of farmers have deep interest in as well. Protecting those farmers and still making sure that our dealers are protected is a fine balance as well. That’s something still being debated.”
