The Pleasantville track and field teams will compete at their Class 2A State Qualifying Meet tonight hosted by Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont.
The high stakes meet includes 12 teams and will decide which events qualify for the state track and field meet next week at Drake Stadium. The top two finishers from each event automatically earn a trip to State, while eight at large bids will be awarded for all events based on times or distances compared across the state.
