The 13th annual fundraiser for MercyOne Newton Medical Center will take place this evening at the DMACC Conference Center in Newton.
The fundraiser is co-sponsored by the MercyOne Newton Auxiliary and Foundation, and consists of a social time, dinner, dessert auction, live and silent auctions, and other activities. Chloe Jenkins, MercyOne Newton Mission and Foundation Manager, says the ticketed event is always well-attended.
“The Gala reaches maximum capacity at 250 to 275 people. Business leaders, community members, employees from the hospital, providers from the hospital, it’s a very wide range of different people who come to the event and come together to support MercyOne Newton, which is great.”
The fundraiser begins at 5:30 p.m. with social time and a cash bar. Dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m., and a live auction will start at 8:30 p.m. Tickets to the fundraiser were $60 per person, and all funds raised will go toward the renovation of MercyOne Newton Medical Center’s Emergency Department.
