Pella Regional Health Center has announced that Patient Care Technician Sydney Dunbar at Pella Regional Health Center, is the recipient of their quarterly ROSE Award. Sydney was nominated by a patient for her high-performance standards and compassionate care. The ROSE Award is a rewards program for Patient Care Technicians. ROSE is an acronym for Recognition of Service Excellence. Recipients of the ROSE award demonstrate excellence through their compassionate care, outstanding communication skills, and clinical expertise.

“When you have technicians who are willing to help you and show up to take care of your needs with a big smile and willingness, that deserves a huge thank you and recognition of gratitude. Sydney was a huge part of answering my service call and was always so pleasant, and she was at my bedside in a timely manner to help. The one major observation I have is ‘if you are in the hospital recovering, you want to have a Sydney on your care team.”
